This book is a collection of images taken over three winters while cruising the waterways of Florida. The photos are about the joy of capturing birds in their natural state. Florida is a great place to experience wildlife and in many areas, the laid-back-lifestyle of Floridians that love to be out on the water!Many images were taken along the St. Johns River which stretches 150 miles from Jacksonville to Sanford, some 300 nautical miles round trip through some of Florida's most beautiful and untouched areas. Other photos were taken along Florida's Intracoastal Waterway in more populated surroundings. Our travels included crossing by boat the latitudinal width of Florida on the Okeechobee Canal from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean and exploring both coastal shores, down to the bottom tip of the Keys to the upper reaches of Florida's Panhandle.
